Anyone here who knows how the lowest level I/O works to read/write sectors(?) on hard drives these day?
some 15 years ago I created a file system and back then If I wanted to I had complete control of every bit on the the hard drive including the bad sector map.

This NFAT needs to accomodate large amounts of data and multiple entry points onto the internet. I also need to design a topology using agents,servers and forensic technician computers that covers a large enterprise network that spans several continents.

I’m studying Computer Forensics and would like to use them for research purposes, i’ve looked on eBay, not too many on there, anyone know any specialist sites, who sell used PC parts ….??

I already have a degree in Biology from a 4 year college. I am now interested in a Forensics program. Are there any good ones out there that takes less than 1 year to complete? And what is the job outlook and how competitive would it be?

I have received two acceptable answers for above question.
1) Check my GROUP POLICY SETTING by running GPDIT.MSC
2) “Forensic Girl” has said I have to change REGISTRIES also.
I have changed lot of registries before whenever it was necessary.
So I want to know what should I check & change exactly inorder to over come those problems.

I am a senior in High School, and I have applied for Two colleges, but I was wondering if anyone knew of good colleges that offer a good Forensics Program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If My school doesn’t have just Computer Forensics, what Courses should I take to go into that field? What my School Has Is Computer Networking and Internet Security.
