Are There Any Forensic Jobs In Orlando Florida?
I’m 23 years old, a college graduate and I’ve had an interest in the forensic field for some time now. Currently, I work in the microbiology field and I can’t help but wonder if working with lab sampling, room testing, air quality monitoring, personnel monitoring, my ability to type 70+ wpm, and microbiology related type work can help me obtain an ENTRY LEVEL position in the Forensic field.
I assume that there may be some schooling involved, but I’ve also read on the internet that entry level positions may only require at least a H.S. Diploma.
I simply want to know from someone with more knowledge on the subject, or perhaps someone in the Orlando, FL area with information, how do I BEGIN to get my foot in the door as far as an entry level forensic based job (desk job, even). Do I contact the Police Department in my county or what? I’m really interested, please help!
