In addition I may take Calculus 3 at the local University after school
As for my grades, I have all As with the exception of one B in AP Calculus BC
The clubs I am part of include:
Vice President buildOn (organization that raises money to build schools in third world countries)
Forensics Public Speaking (state finalist)
Concertmaster in Symphony Orchestra
Model UN (award winner)
President Medical Club
I have also been an Indian Classical Dancer for 10 years, performing nationally and have completed my arangetram (dance graduation)
I volunteer with various organizations, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and the Baldwin Tutoring Center being the main organizations
I am also the vice president of the Youth Committee at my temple (a very volunteer based organization)
I plan on spending this summer participating in 2 medical research internships.
I scored a 34 on the ACT, and am taking it again (on the state required testing date) and hope to improve my score 1-2 points
I will also be taking the SAT in March and the SAT II for Match Level 2, Biology and Chemistry
Please let me know roughly the chances I have of getting in. I’d especially like to hear from Johns Hopkins Alumni or students that have been accepted/ and or attend Johns Hopkins.
Thanks!

  1. I don’t know how you could make your resume any more impressive than that. The only things that can stop you are your essay, interview, or recommendations, but I’m sure those are all good.

  2. Very impressive! While nothing is a guarantee… maybe schedule a tour of the school? Talk to different advisers there, as well as the Dean. Put your name out there and make them notice you now!

  3. That’s a great resume! Of course, no one can guarantee it, but you stand a pretty good chance. :)
