Ohio Forensic Guide

I will be giving EC-council Ethical hacker exam soon … im confused about what to study after this to get good jobs in the field of security …
Im thinking of CCNA followed by Forensics Investigator, but im not sure about the job opportinities for such courses.
My Edu. qualification:
BE in IT.
Currently doing Masters in Computers (Last semester)
Im placed in a software solutions company…im not sure whether I would be given a job profile in networking or ill have to do s/w development…In the long run I want to appear for CISSP, so i’d love to work in security from the start but since im into a s/w development comp. im unsure if ill get that profile so i want to do some certs to convey my interest in this field….also from elegibility of CISSP…what certs should I do to get a 1 year waiver ….also will an exp. in s/w development be considered for the eligibility for CISSP ?
other courses of interest : Penetration Tester,Application Security.
