Data Recovery Training?
I’m interested in becoming a PC data recovery/forensics technician. Can anyone suggest any books, courses or professional training? (The industry seems very fragmented with companies promoting their own agendas/products).
For general certification, look getting Security+ first. It would help if you did the A+ Certification training first. It would give you a good base for the hardware side of it.
Here’s 2 places to start:http://www.giac.org/http://certification.comptia.org/securit…
Another way of determining what certifications are required, look on a company’s website for their reguirements. An example would be Ontrack: http://www.krollontrack.com/careers/jobs…
