		<description>For general certification, look getting Security+ first. It would help if you did the A+ Certification training first. It would give you a good base for the hardware side of it.

Required qualifications for
Computer Forensics/Investigations - Sr. Technology Specialist II- Kroll Ontrack- New York NY – NEW001FD
Qualifications:
-Required certifications: A+, CISSP, EnCE, Network (N)+ , Security+
-Extensive hands-on experience with laptops, desktops, forensic investigations of systems, LAN support, troubleshooting, auditing, security risks.
-Advanced understanding of Network Architectures.
-Substantial experience with 3rd party forensic software.
-Advanced experience with e-mail based systems.
-Investigative and Data Recovery Tool knowledge and/or experience.  Candidate must achieve at least a basic proficiency level with certain tools.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Excellent Report/Affidavit drafting skills. 
-Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces.</description>
