If thats the case, why are we paying Microsoft money for a OS that has such a security flaw? The only other option I see is encryption software on the internet…however, the software decrypts the with a special password…every time you want to update that file (ie it could be a personal address book in word etc), you have to input password and un-encrypt the file to view. Once updated,you have to decrypt the file (manually with the software) again. What bloody palava that is.Not workable at all. What if the file is part of a working app as opposed to a data file? Is there anyway out there which guarantees data security?Note:EFS also lets ANYONE view the files names

Currently I use a couple different software methods depending on the case .. ghost w/o marking the drive, dd & netcat, etc. These are becoming too time intensive with the increase in drive sizes and the turn-around times that management wants on initial data gathering. So I need a good, fast, not-too-expensive hardware solution.

I’m talking, though, of writing all zero’s or all ones on a disk on an extreme low level format. Some disk forensics can still read data. How can that happen?

I’m in eigth grade. I understand the importance of an education and am working hard to improve these grades. My problem is I’m not allowed to join sports, attened school functions such as dances, I’m not allowed to join clubs such as forensics, at home I’m only allowed to talk on the phone to call my dad (not that I use it that much anyway) The computer is for homework purposes only (wich I am using it only for that except this one time), I’m not allowed to watch television in my bedroom, I’m not allowed to have anyone over, nor am I allowed anywhere. I understand being punsihed and disciplined for my grades slippling but all this at once is over-whelming for me. I’ve been reading a lot now and I got my book taken away from my dad because “it brings me too much joy.” I have nothing to do. I’m going insane. once I’m done with my homework the only options I have is cleaning, watching mind-numbing television in the living room, or sleeping.

I’m still having a very hard time choosing my major. I read these books about Majpr choosing. And it said choose 10-15 majors, research them. And determine whether you have the knowledge, talent, and capability of this major. I choose 7 majors. But they may not be right for me.
Computer Support Specialist- I’m good with computers(says my mother), but I’m not very patient with other people, and i tend to be very nervous when on the phone.
Criminology- I’m not assertive enough to be cop. or a forensic scientist, i’m not sure if i could be capable of that
Sociology- Researching human behavior. But I’m too biased.
I took an apititude test to see which major is right for me. Called ASVAB. These are the major, id be most compatible with.?
What do you think? Do you have any tips on choosing majors?
