I Have A Nikon E4600coolpix Camera. I Need To Reset My Picture Count So That Pics I Take Come Up …?






I need the images to come up 1.jpg 2.jpg. …. etc. I know I can change them once I download them to a computer but will the original file number still be seen in the photo data? I ask because I’m taking a forensic photography class and our teacher wants us to have the photos numbered that way because that’s how you would do it professionally. I don’t want there to be any trace of the old number (he’ll catch it).

  2. According to page 101 of the manual, page 111 in the PDF at the link below:
    “Select Reset All after either deleting all pictures or formatting the memory card”
