  1. I am sure it is – eventually. Let me explain: More that 60% of the revenue generated by forensic audit firms comes from computer forensic related products. In the past (many years ago) all fraud related incidents had paper as the core focus. Nowadays it is digital data found on computers, cellphones, etc.
    The need for this special forensic service are big in demand and some law enforcement agencies like in the UK will outsource their work to private establishments like cellphone forensics.
    However to get to the level that will earn proper income takes years of study and experience. I will recommend it to anyone that enjoys sitting behind a computer all day analyzing things. If you prefer working with people and “be out there”, you may find this boring.
