An investigation has been launched into video footage of a uniformed police officer performing stunts on a moped believed to have been seized from a suspected criminal.
The on-duty officer, filmed by his laughing colleagues, is seen falling off the scooter as he performs a 360-degree “doughnut” turn on a public footpath, in the clip posted on the YouTube website.
The officer, believed to be a PC from Humberside Police, is wearing a pair of forensic examination gloves as he rides the blue moped – understood to have been recovered in a criminal inquiry.
During the minute-long clip he clambers back on to the bike after his fall and zooms off as fellow officers laugh.

  8. Is stupidest a word??? Unfortunately, just like any other profession you have the good and the bad. There’s really no stopping a stupid person from entering and completing the police academy. Sometimes the only thing that separates a stupid person from a stupid police officer is a gun.

  10. So are policeman not allowed to have a little bit of fun when they are at work? It’s a difficult, often thankless job so would you really begrudge them a few minutes to let off a bit of steam?

  12. That is one ridiculous laugh in the background. It was daft of them to get filmed but I like it, shows they’re human.

    but there are worse, one time I read there was a police officer who repeatedly (!!) reported himself after taking bribes I think it was in south Korea.

    I work in the cusotdy suites and well have a good laugh there, as well as taking our jobs seriously
    Everyones allowed to let their hair down
    But i have to add the person in the background laughing needs to be shot
