Just Thinking What People Think Of My College Goals?
Ok i am going to be going to a community college for 1 year to get some basic classes out of the way then i am going to be transferring to a 4 year college for criminal justice and minoring in computer forensics. And after i graduate i want to go to street patrol or become more of a specialty cop like either swat or dea. I was thinking also law and get a degree in law and work with the fbi. So should i stick to swat and/or dea or continue on with my education and go to law school.
That sounds great, but I would consider staying at community for two years. You will save money, the coursework is usually easier, and there are often scholarships for community college graduates transferring into a four-year. Look up the transfer programs offered at your school. Remember, only the school from which you receive your BA will matter.
go to a community college with an administration of justice degree offered. it will give you good skills.
As you go to school and take classes your goals will change and your values will become clearer..
one step at a time…the journey ispart of the process…let your life unfold…you will find what you want to do or not do as you take classes and have extra curricular activites.
call your local police department and see if you can do a ride along.
Anything to do with law is extremely competitive .
