Example of just 2 drives out of the many we see damaged by individuals, IT people who think they can recover their own data, even OTHER Data Recovery Companies that don’t know what they are doing destroying people’s hard drives and important data! One of these “other” data recovery companies advertises all the time everywhere and has a slick website “claiming” to have a Class 100 Cleanroom! The first example is a Seagate 750GB Hard Drive and the second example is a Western Digital 80GB Hard Drive. Most of these companies who are completely unqualified to be even touching people’s hard drives are the companies popping up everywhere advertising a low flat rate even for cleanroom data recoveries. The people behind those companies often take a few courses, read some information online, buy a few tools and believe they are ready to start making big bucks like the big companies recovering data! Invasive data recovery is nowhere near as simple as it looks and is an extremely delicate precision process that should only be carried out by skilled disk storage engineers. When a drive has bad head(s), seized spindle motor and your data is important leave it to the professionals and stay away from ANY company claiming cleanroom data recovery for one low flat rate price for all drives. Most of these companies are only capable of what we consider easy data recoveries “our $199″ basic service, they lie and tell customers that they are cleanroom data recoveries charging 2-3 times as much …

For those who have their own Mac computer, learning how to do Macintosh data recovery is essential. Everyone who owns a Apple computers think that they no longer need to worry because hacks and viruses can no longer get to them. But that is not always true because as time passes, viruses will be created. The Mac OS X in particular seems to have many weak spots. This is how data is lost in Macs same way as data is lost in Personal Computers (PC). The fact that Macs statistically get less viruses does not mean anything. This is because as compared to the PC, there aren’t as many Macs in use out there.

Your precious eye candy Macintosh computer is still able to be attacked by viruses and hackers and lots of important data may be lost and destroyed in the process. The Mac hard drive may even crash. Also, some simple mistakes on your part will always lead to loss of data. Then there are also those inevitable physical shocks or damage to the PC that may causes data loss.

In fact when you look inside your Mac, you might be surprised to see many familiar parts that are also being used in any PC. There are viruses that target these specific parts. If that happens, your precious computer becomes infected. There are also specific viruses that will be able to infect specific applications in any kind of OS.

To protect your computer from such kinds of attacks, you should always keep a steady lookout for anything you are downloading as well as watching out for email attachments from unknown people. You should always make sure that you have a working and regularly updated anti-virus program. Finally, always backup your files.

There isn’t much difference between the process of recovering data from a PC and a Mac. In both, FAT or NTFS files in the hard drive can be retrieved. When deleting a file unintentionally, you can do a scan for these deleted data. Free data recovery software for Mac is also available online.

There are some data recovery software that is solely for the Mac operating system X. There are also those that have no specialization and can be used anywhere. Just make sure that you get the right one for you computer and for your needs. One can always call the Macintosh customer service in order to inquire on this subject and get leads on it. The manufacturer will of course always have the best of knowledge on these matters.

You should stop using the damaged or problematic computer. Download your Macintosh Data recovery software somewhere else. You will want to keep that computers data storage untouched so as not to overwrite on your lost file before you can retrieve it.

You should consult a real expert if you are dealing with corrupted or even deleted files that you really need to recover. One should know the workings of data recovery services such as what exact services are rendered, their expertise and experience and their working time in order determine the payment. One should also understand carefully the clauses that they put in their contract since these are easily invoked if they fail to find the data.

A data recovery professional is someone hired by recovery corporations in order to assess as well as fixes the trouble you are in. Data recovery depends on the kind of damage that your systems has. It may be just software or it may be hardware or even both. For specific problems or combination of problems, there are different steps for fixing and even different steps of telling what kind of damage has been done. Thus, hiring an experienced expert in data recovery is truly important.

Most damage to data is caused by physical hard drive problems. That is why one needs data recovery experts who know how to deal with malfunctioning parts. These guys will have to listen well to the hard drive’s ailments and tell you how to fix it or which parts need to be replaced and which to keep. This is unlike data systems problems or software problems that can easily be fixed without opening the central processing unit.

All data recovery experts are well acquainted with techniques to get back any lost data files and fixing the hard drive with as little replacement of parts or damage as possible. They are experts in checking the servers, computer memory, databases, hard drives, storage media, and networks. You can hire one by contacting data recovery companies that specialize in these kind of tasks.

There are a lot of these companies competing with each other so the prices are also competitive. One is able to get an initial analysis of the hard drive usually without charge. Also, one should choose among a wide range of choices since some companies might have exorbitant charges while offering to recover only a small percentage of the lost data. It helps to try to ask and understand just what the problem is so that one will not have to be subject to overcharging.
Investigation and canvassing is necessary. One should get assessments and free quotes then compare them. When choosing among the experts, one can base the decision by examining their clean room. The best companies have the best well rated clean room certifications.

To survey different companies, you can simply look for them through the internet. If there aren’t many in your area then just use a search engine and search for the term “data recovery experts”. You are sure to find a lot of them that way.

Forensic nursing courses are in great demand these days. More and more students are enrolling themselves in various universities to get a degree or a certificate in Forensic nursing. Forensic nursing is an emerging filed with bright prospects. The job itself is quite challenging. If you have the time and the means then you can get yourself enrolled in any good university offering forensic nursing education. But if you do not have either the time or the means then there is another option for you – online degrees. Now you can get your degree in forensic nursing sitting at your home.

If you find it difficult to commute to your school, or you do not have the time to attend regular classes or if you could not get into the University of your choice then you can opt for an online course in forensic nursing. Many of these sites offering online degrees work in close collaboration with some of the best universities in the US. You get a degree approved by that particular big university without having to move anywhere.

Online Forensic nursing degrees offer you courses at associate level, bachelor level and master’s level. These are generally twelve month courses that teach you everything that you need to know about forensic nursing. However you just get the content online. It is largely self-studying that you do after that you can choose what educational site you Prefer. Since these sites are generally owned by universities or work in collaboration with them, you can base your choice on the reputation of the university. If possible, you can look through the various degrees offered, quality of content, free structure by visiting their websites and then make your choice. After you have done that, choose your area of specialization. There are different kinds of works and departments within forensic nursing. Assess your capacities and interests and go for that course that suits you the best. Information about different fields of specialization is also available online.

Courses like SANE or sexual assault nursing examiner and emergency room examiner are the most popular ones. Most of the forensic nursing service is required in cases of sexual assault and rape. A forensic nurse is taught to provide medical aid, collect and preserve evidence and treat the victim for mental trauma. They combine their nursing expertise with forensic sciences to help get hold of the criminal. An emergency room examiner looks for possible suggestions of violence or foul play in seemingly ordinary cases. These areas also do not require you to do crime scene investigations or autopsy on the dead. Other ones like medico-legal death examination, evidence collector and law enforcement teams do the more rigorous work. If you strong at heart, can devote a good amount of your time to your job and are willing to take up challenges then you must go for these courses.

Online degrees are a great option for people who live in faraway areas or who want to do additional courses or jobs along with their course in forensic nursing. These online degrees guarantee you good jobs. You might even get scholarships or reimbursements from your future employees.

I also came across a product online called ontrack data recovery which sounds ok, but costs an arm and a leg. Is there anything out there that can help me get all my important information back?
What I did was a system recovery and not a system restore. Ant ideas?

Is there a data/partition recovery software that can change RAW file system back to NTFS? I know Easeus has one product called Data Recovery Wizard that can have the job done. But the $70 price tag is too expensive for me. Hope there is a freeware somewhere that can also do the same job. Thanks.
