In this case, the software we use is Getway Raid Recovery 2.0.

Step 1: Analyze Mode Selection

Select the “Smart Mode”, and then click the “Next” button.

(Once you get a RAID recovery case, we usually suggest you firstly select “Smart Mode”, It is the most convenient and efficient Mode: Fast, Intelligent. Certainly, if you clearly know the RAID details, you can recover the data by directly using either the Manual Mode or User-defined Mode.)

Step 2: Load Image & Set Raid Parameters

The default set is Factory Type as “Standard” and the Raid Type as ” Raid 5″ (you can select the right Factor Type and the Raid Type according to your RAID Array), and then click the “Next” button to rebuild and recover the RAID Array.

Step 3: Analyze & Export Image

A) Analyze:
Click the “Analyze” button after your finish the parameter setup. Getway RAID Recovery software will display the parameters and the right disk order of your RAID Array, and also you can view the reconstructed partition information.

B) File View:
Select one partition and click “File View” button, a file browser will be popped up. You can view the folders and the files from the browser after successfully analyze. You will know the analysis was successful or not by this step.

C) Export Image:
After you verify the authenticity of the data, and also you sure you want to get the data back, you can purchase a License Key and activate the software. The detailed operations are as follow: after you get the License key, please click the “About” button and input the ID and License Key to activate the software.

Then you can export the partition as the image files or export the image to other hard disk.

Attention: Please don’t export the image to your system disk, otherwise it will cover the data which on your system disk.

Rebuild RAID:
Verify the authenticity of the image files, and then reload the image files to the new RAID Array. RAID Recovery is successful.

In one simple sentence, forensic science is the application of a number of sciences to find out information that is required by the law in the process of administering justice. The science of forensics is ultimately meant to bring a criminal to book and to deconstruct a crime scenario so that everything comes to light. Understandably, forensic science has to cover a lot of ground and the subdivisions of the subject are fairly broad.

Ballistics, toxicology, psychology, photography, odontology, epistemology, entomology, forensic engineering, forensic anthropology, forensic economics and forensic anthropology are a few of the disciplines that are used by the broad subject of forensic science.

History has it that the use of fingerprints to reveal identity was first used in the 7th century. It is a precursor of the modern-day finger-print check or retina-check. According to Soleiman, an Arabic merchant, this finger print check was used to safeguard commercial transactions. A debtor’s fingerprint was affixed on a bill and was kept by the lender. The bill was acknowledged as valid document that marked the debt.

The year was 1248 and the country was China. Song Ci, wrote the book ‘Xi Yuan Ji Lu’ which is still read as the ‘Collected cases of Injustice Rectified’. It was a book of its own stature. It dealt with the use of medicine and entomology for detecting criminal acts.

It has many fascinating accounts. One recounts the unraveling of a murder committed with the help of a sickle. The investigator told the people to bring their sickles to an open spot. The sickle that had blood on it attracted the flies. The same book speaks about how to distinguish between drowning and strangulation. A drowned person is going to have water in his or her lungs. Similarly, a person who is strangulated is sure to bear broken neck cartilage marks.

Sherlock Holmes, the immensely popular fictional character created by Arthur Conan Doyle, relies a lot on the forensic science to figure out, who has done it? Actually, Doyle based his hero on a real life flesh and blood character. Joseph Bell, the gifted surgeon at the University of Edinburgh had taught Doyle medicine. It was his traits that Doyle imbibed in the creation of his super detective.

The comic strip Dick Tracy also featured a popular detective, who used the science of forensic to bust crime.

The science of forensics has evolved a lot, since the days of its inception.

Television programs like Cold Case Files and CSI have prompted an increase in the publics fascination with forensic science. What is not generally known, however, is that forensic science is a field that involves much more than is shown on television. Everyone knows that forensic scientists work in an area of law and are responsible for examining evidence to solve crimes. But they do more than work in labs, testing samples of DNA. Forensic scientists also visit crime scenes, study the crime locations, and are witnesses in court cases.

Sometimes, these scientists can make mistakes if they dont follow established procedures, which include keeping exact files on the evidence in a case. In some cases, these mistakes can have a negative impact on innocent lives. Several individuals have been sentenced to death on the basis of expert forensic evidence and testimony. Later on, it was discovered that these people were innocent, and the real criminals were apprehended. In these cases, science save an innocent life, and the courts could provide justice. Recently, over eleven individuals were released from a Chicago jail after new forensic evidence showed they were innocent. These people had already spent years in jail as a result of mistakes made in the legal system.

You can get a degree in forensic science online in just a few years. To earn a degree, you need to have a previous degree in biology, physics, chemistry, or physical science in order to register. Some online colleges require a minimum of a bachelors degree in one of these subjects before you can begin courses in forensic science. If you want to find a degree program in this field you should consult organizations such as the American Board of Criminalistic-ABC, American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors-ASCLD, National Forensic Science Tech Center-NSFTC, International Association of Forensic Science, and International Association for Identification-IAI and International Society for Forensic Genetics, and International Association for Identification-IAI and International Society for Forensic Genetics.

Degrees in forensic science may cover budget analysis, forensic accounting, working in a morgue or hospital, studying DNA, or working with computers. There are many areas in which you can work after getting a forensic science degree. Computer forensics involves investigations of evidence by tracking information via computer technology. It is a new field, but expertise in this area increases daily. Computer forensics involves extracting data from various media and presenting the evidence collected to the courts. This field uses extensive software programs and applications. The FBI, CIA, and other law enforcement agencies use forensic science with computers to resolve their cases.

An online forensics degree requires more work and specific background education than other online degrees, but if you want an exciting career with many opportunities and a chance to make a difference, do not let this keep you from pursuing on online degree in forensic science.
