Whap Happens To A Hdd When You Start A Pc, Log In , And Then Shut It Down?
Iv been given this question in forensic computing lab, and we need to work it out useing sciencific method.
We have a caddie (other hard drive) to boot onto, so we were thinking useing some sort of software to scan hdd while its inactive, then boot it up and scan again, then see the differences.
So if anyone has any good software for this,
or nows the answer and can explain it would help me alot!
i don`t see how you can examine HDD other than visually, until it starts to spin? Do you mean to open the disk and scan the platter inside?
