What Is Required To Become A Forensic Scientist?






I’ve reached the halfway in high school and I am seriously considering forensic science as a career path. I am not sure what the requirements are. I’ve searched the internet but every site says something different . Does anyone know for sure what is generally needed?

    For general career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search ‘biological scientists’, ’science technicians’ or such. (Typing into search ‘forensic scientists’ provides information but in a slightly different forum.)

  2. For assistant forensic scientist tor a technical specialist:
    5 GCSE ( A* – C) including English and Maths.
    Then work experience etc.
    Case-reporting forensic scientist and/or a forensic science researcher:
    5 GCSE ( A* – C) including English and Maths.
    A good degree in Biology/Chemistry/ Forensics/ or any related subject.
