		<description>If you&#039;re studying computer forensics, a formatted hard drive shouldn&#039;t be a problem. 
You&#039;ll have a hard time finding unformatted, used drives anywhere. There&#039;s a huge liability factor in reselling &quot;dirty&quot; hard drives. If it&#039;s a private seller, most of them wouldn&#039;t be stupid enough to sell you a dirty hard drive.
Although, there are some morons out there... Look on Craigslist in the free section. I live in Minneapolis, and there&#039;s always free computer crap on there.</description>

There are always students working on computers there and it&#039;s a great place to find old hardware. I used to visit one in my old town and at any given time they had 10-20 unused hard drives laying around.</description>
